The Computational Biophysics Group (CBG) at UCI develops theoretical and computational methods to study complex biological systems. We focus on developing a molecular understanding of the essential machinery of life. Our research lies at the intersection of physics, biology, and chemistry, and is often carried out in close collaboration with leading experimentalists.
